Run them both on the same day, same dyno........run them again tomm, diff results, run them next week, get my drift? Im not a dyno hater at all, but i dont believe them numbers mean much on the street, especially a 1-2hp difference, whiich would change if you ran em again, i mean im seeing your intention but there is no solve all end all brocks vs. muzzy solution.

edit: there is no way to tell which makes more power unless you have the ABSOLUTE BEST possible map for that bike on that day, which NOONE will ever have. When i say best i mean the map that will make the most power for that particular pipe..... especially if your doing a comparison..... you can take the loosing pipe and the map with the lower numbers, give it to ANOTHER tuner and he can make 8 more hp with it beating the other pipe....you see?

I think you're assumptions are wrong..... I know your m10 will never make more power then my brocks on any day. How do I know that? I've had both. The m14 is the pipe in question, and I believe the better pipe will win every day of the week.

ur entitled to your opinion..... You cant possible KNOW that it wont make as much power, how do i know? because theres no way you can say that without the above stated. You have to have the best possible tune on a pipe, compare it to the best possible tune on the other pipe then go from there.... also if you think a pipe can compensate for rider, then sure lets race......lol

Regardless of your tough internet demenor, the fact remains that I've ridden my bike with a muzzy pipe and brocks pipe. The difference is not small in any way. I used to like my bike having a 16t front sprocket, but now, I'm selling it because even when I'm in a full crouch, the bike goes skyward in 2nd gear. The brocks pipe makes more power then the original m10, and there is simply no logical argument. Considering the brocks street map and the muzzy map are almost identical tells me that given the same map, the brocks whoops on the original m10. You simply have no viable argument, I have owned both pipes. Until you try out both pipes, don't bother to continue to argue, because you are making blind conjectures.
Also, nowhere did I say that my brocks equipped bike can beat any muzzy bike, I simply said it can make more power. So, learn to read, and then wander up to washington and I'd be glad to race you.

Dude, you might as well quit wasting your time. There is no other exhaust except anything brocks makes. I mean hell, muzzy should just close and go to work for brocks. Brock for president!!!

The funny thing about you is it sounds like you wouldn't run Brock's even if results come back as it being a better exhaust. I want to know which exhaust is the best one. Your attitude towards brocks is no different then those who blindly support brocks having no other information. I want the best pipe, and I've ridden quite a few different set-ups now.

I wasnt trying to be tough so dont take it like that, Just simply stating some facts you would have to have in order to pull off "official test"......Seriously i cant help but get defensive when you ramming other people products in the ground. "i know its better" "your pipe will never make more than mine on any day" dude please...... post some damn dyno numbers up.....
I said Brock makes good pipes, nothing against him or his products, but im not on the Brock bandwagon and have raced several bikes around here with a brock pipe, and ive never been beat, not once, so im just saying the better pipe dont win every day of the week. Its a adult arguement, dont get upset or take me a hostile, hahah its just words.

ohh and for the record, my sucky a$$ m10 goes skyward in second, no clutch, and im stretched....im just trying to tell you its all in the tune, my brother...... the tune

What are your ET's? Sounds like you have that Muzzy running good...

I haven't got my bike fully set up yet, but with the Shortmeg it is showing +4-5 mph at the 1/8th compared to the M14. I am weighing in about 50 lbs. lighter than last year. Nonethless, near 123 mph with a 680+ lb. combined weight says it is making the power..

The Muzzy might have done the same #'s..if they had the map support. When you buy an exhaust it more than just dyno #'s...cost, fit and finish, support, weight, sound, looks...the whole package. There is a pipe for everyone...

Shane

I didnt mean that to sound arrogant, looking back on it i see that it could be, just saying I havent been beat, It runs decent, Ive mostly just ran it on the street, i know not the safest thing in the world but its a pretty big scene here....I havent had a chance to get to the track since my mods and my stretch for test n tune yet do to my job to get some official numbers, but im on it, I was gonna go last night but it rained go figure.... Im pretty sure im in the high 8's like it sits, just going off of who I have beat, the times they run and what they said I should be running.....I will get some numbers for ya, i know talk is cheap.

Ohh and Ive been following your write-up since you created it, very nice and helpful...... I just read more than I post.

one question shane? did you run the m10 with the baffle in or out? Ive got 2 maps, one for the street which is still damn good and one race map both are custom maps from my tuner.... the race map was just baffle out, and some c12 but absolutely screams and made a good amt of hp over my pump gas map.

My header was the M14 with Oval Stainless. I always ran it with the baffle. The M14 header is different than the standard Muzzy, for more power and ground clearance.

i'll give you the pat on the back... the enemy of my enemy is my friend lol . I've got no bias of brands, but like brocks for customer service and great power. I personally don't care too much for muzzys, but it's because of rob muzzy... Not because the products are inferior to any other products.

Now you need to get out to the damn track and represent for us. We could use all of the fast 14's out there that we can get.

Hey you still have a job and a ZX-14 :-) oh and a Muzzy exhaust :-) I am fanning the
flames. :-) The M14 with stepped header pipes does make a little more low end HP
than some of the other systems out there. I wanted a Brocks Gen 3 but Shane sold his M14 and a custom map for 1/2 the price of a new system. I am Happy, it runs Great and smooth.
