quote: In my own opinion with both exhausts in front of me, the muzzy's is built better and fits better, I like the look of the alienhead a little more though. Both Brocks and Muzzy's have bought and tested each other's pipes and know this and that. So yeah, it would be fun testing this theory in "our" real world enviroment. But Im telling you same map on the same bike with both exhaust is not going to net any huge difference in power. I am going to weigh each system tonight with all springs and everything. Because weight is the only thing you are going to see the "big" difference in.
You Sig is very bad ... Do you have any clue the man hours Brock put into the zx14 ? Without people like Brock the zx14 could have been a flop and you would have been riding a Busa .. Yes i run Brocks Pipes and Maps and NOT Muzzys , i have run Muzzy pipes in the past but i like Brocks better ....But you don't see me telling people Muzzy sucks .... Your Sig is in very bad taste...

quote: Brock vs Muzzy? Muzzy M10 was his first try with straight header pipes and not even close to a Brock hence the reason for a M14, M14 looks a lot like Brock's 1st and old 2006-2008 design and it's Muzzy's 2nd try at it, you want to do a end all test, then you need to test Brocks new and 2nd design agains't the M14, the new CT out performs the Alien Head by a good margin, just show's no one stops development so there will never be an end all, it's down to buyers choice.
do you have something to show this, overlaying dyno, etc?? (CT versus alien, shortmeg,)

The problem with Muzzy is that you have to deal with Muzzy...and they're assholes for the most part. There have been many many reports here about how they rip and tear -- not to mention this fucking Curt asshole that has attitude up the ass there...fuck, I'd buy Brock any day of the week, even if his stuff wasn't better than Rob's, and that's not the case anyway. Brock's an easy company to deal with. Try dealing with Muzzy. My bud just ordered a few things from them and you can't believe what they make you send by fax as proof when paying by credit card...what arrogant dicks. What an arrogant attitude they have there. I can buy anything they have elsewhere...and not have to deal with them.
LEE - that asshole probably works for Muzzy anyway....fucking dumbass with a signature like that...what a complete fucking moron.

You dont like my sig, then ban me. I call it like I see it. The alienhead I have using for comparison fits like absolute shit. The muzzy's fit like a glove, and gawd for almost half the price. Oh, and the wonderful customer service you guys just go on and on about, yeah I got a whole lot of that over the fitment issues I had. If you go and pay that kind of price for something it better not only perform, but better damn fit as well. And for your information Ive been wrenching on bikes for 10+ years and Im an ASE master tech, and Im doing a small type journeymans at a machine shop, so yeah I can change oil . Anyway, I was going to post my weight numbers on the alienhead and the m14/m10 setup. But gawd forbid I dont like Brocks products and dont ride their dicks so you know what nevermind. In poor taste? nah, the truth just hurts.
Yeah, sure
alienhead 9lb 2 oz.
M14 with M10 meg 10lb 13 oz. If I can add correctly, not sure Im stupid now. Uhhh I think thats about 1lb 11oz.. Someone check my math now, I dont know how to use our digital machine scales.

We don't ban people here ...We let assholes talk all they want ... By the way ASE is a spin off of NASE that i had 30 years ago .. ASE test are so easy that Forest Gump could pass them ..
Call me when you get that Muzzy pipe to run what my Brocks pipe does ..

I have installed six short megs in about three weeks- 08 busa, 2- 06 busa's 1- 03 busa and 2-07 14's. The hp and tq figures are so consistent from one bike of the same model and all the systems in the group together its unreal ! The same goes for the qaulity fit and finish. I catch myself thinking why bother dyno the bikes his maps are so close for the application you really don't need to,but i do anyway. I like the new m14 muzzy sidewinder,i have been running one on my 06 14. I have had quite a few guys ask me to test them so i did on my test mule 06. It runs 8.30's 164 on motor and its going threw the traps in 5th all tapped out and my moniter is showing me 12.8 a/f on a map i spent some time making up between the dyno and with the wideband playback. I run the Brock's sidewinder with a map he sent me for the build i have in this motor, and it goes thru the traps at 12.7 same gear just shy of the soft limiter. The bike is all done 8.24-164. My point? If Brock can develop a map for this one up motor that is as good as the map i spent some time on the bike making I can gaurentee you it will be hard to fine fault with any of his street bike lightly modded bike maps or ex systems! ...............Bill

I've had both systems, and I'm really not biased towards either one....except the weight savings from my Stainless Oval Muzzy to the Brock was significant. I also feel the map support (and customer support in general) is much better from Brock.
I also want to clear up where someone said the Muzzy was nearly half the cost of the Brock's. An M14/M10 Muzzy is $800 on Ebay, plus shipping. A Brock system, from Brock, is $1065 with free shipping for Bikeland members.
No doubt the Muzzy is cheaper, but it's certainly not half the cost. As for the ridiculous signature...well, I sometimes think that Muzzy owners carry a terrible chip on their shoulder around here. It is especially tough with all of the die-hard Brock fans.
As I've said before, they are both good exhausts.

Yes I do, but Brock didn't say it was ok to post, if you are a Brock customer just email him and ask for the Dyno chart and he will email it to you, if you are not then oh well.

Huh, I got my muzzy for a little over 600 shipped. Granted my alienhead was thermal coated and came in right at 1300. Thats where I was getting the double the price thing.

damn, if i could have bought a muzzy for 600 i think that i... would have still bought my brocks lol. it cost me 900 and some change for my shorty gen3... but i'm military. i'm sure that you'll be perfectly happy with your m14/m10... but there will always be that shadow of doubt in the back of your head as you wonder if you should have stayed with the brocks. there's a reason why people at the track are running them and it's not only because of customer service. you had a bad experience... shit happens. sucks but at least you found another company that you like. now get that thing to the drag strip and report what you find.

There's two sides to every story, I've only seen yours, so I don't know what was said and how it was said. Reading through other's experience with Brocks, it's unusual that you would be treated the way you were for (from your previous posts) no good reason. Are you sure you didn't call Muzzy by mistake?
