First time at track
First of all thanks for all of the useful info on here. I literally check this site daily for useful information. I bought my 09' 14 on March 3rd. I spent much time reading on here and installing new parts before taking it to the track. Here are my MODS pcIII, Brocks street meg, flys out, brocks strap mounts and I have it lowered in the 3rd hole. Last night was my first night at the track. My goal was to run 9 anything. I had a few crap passes as I had never had my bike above 4000 rpms until last night. So really no idea how much power it really had. My best pass was a 9.83 @149......very nice MPH but crappy 60 ft times (1.810) I did cut a 1.710 60ft but while shifting to 2nd broke the tire loose and just coasted to the end DAMN. I think I could run 9.50's with a good 60' anyone agree or disagree??? Again, great site!

Way to go Nooby! Sounds like you just need some more seat time, and you'll make it to the mid 9s. Any Pics or Videos?

Not bad at all for your very first try ..I see your in FL , thursday night we are going to BMP to run .. Come on up and run with us and we will give you some pointers ..9.50s are not problem with a little more seat time , your set up it can go low 9s if your are not to heavy ..

BMP? thats Bradenton correct. Thats about 3 hours from me but I am looking forward to the next sunday deal. No.....I weigh 150 lbs lucky for me.

Yes that is Bradenton .. Test and tune Thursday night .. Or wait till the 29th for Runday Sunday at BMP.. I have gone 9.18 with the mods you have and i also weight 150 ...With some seat time you will go very fast with what you have ..
