oil drain might drag

can anyone tell me how to keep my oil pan from draggin the ground and destroyin my motor? iv been told to get a new oil pan, or to move it, i just need to know the best way to fix the problem.

move the plug to the side of the pan. gives you an extra in of clearance

Moved my plug to the rear of the pan and havent had a problem since I did.

You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

cheapest solution is don't lower it in the first place, but you didn't list your application

Keep a eye out in the classifieds for a modified pan. There has beeen quite a few in there the past month or so
