I have it set 65ms now.
This is the first motorcycle I have road with a auto kill device. I am wondering do I have shift to kill time set right?
I feel the shift lever load up alittle before the shift is made. Is this normal?

Should I be feeling a hard load on the shifter before it shifts?

sounds like the switch needs too much preload to activate the kill, try adjusting the engaugement of the switch.

Initailly i was thinking airshifter, where you have delay and kill....

Tried readjusting, and it got a little smoother, I see now that it is going to take some fine tuning to get it perfect.
I hope I prefect it before I bend a shift fork!

Yup, it should not need any more pressure than you would apply lightly before a power shift (where you roll out quickly with the lever preloaded)
Its important to ensure the the shift forks are loading the shaft for the next shift enough so to enguage the gear when it kills, but also important not to overload the forks trying to acheive the kill activation.
Either condition is hard on the shift forks, and the drum.

Still adjusting, this thing is very sensitive, a half a turn of adjustment makes a noticable difference.
