Tag Light Bulb
I installed a Muzzy fender eliminator which uses the stock tag light and since I have done so I have had to replace several bulbs for some unknown reason. Does anyone have any idea why this may be happening. Do I need to add some type of grease to the bottom of the bulb or tighten something or what ?

Sounds to me light a bad ground... excessive currenct to the filement. Check the ground wire for a poor conncection.

It's the ground for sure (has the same problem). Check underneath the seat and look at the connection-you can moce it around and actually make the light flicker... I put another type connection there and never had another problem with it.

mine has a hole drilled in the undertail just below the tail light that works great... ghetto? of course... does it work? like a fucking charm lol.
