Flushed brake and clutch fluids yesterday
Really simple straight forward job, hard to believe how nasty and dark it got in a year and a half. I went with Valvoline synthetic, it's compatible and doesn't absorb moisture they claim.

One of those last little jobs I plan to do before the Ninja is back to 100%.. I'll have to ask some questions here. Topic saved.

I've read up on that procedure in the SM. What kind/size plastic hose did you use to hook on the bleed nip?

I'm not sure Rook, I went to Napa Auto Parts and bought a cheap brake bleeder. $5 or $6. It consists of a section of clear tubing and a one way check valve.

I checked at Advance Auto and they had a suction gun with different tips to thread onto car bleeds. It was one of their items that you put a deposit on and they give it back when you return. I didn't think it would work for a non threaeded nipple like we have on our bikes. I saw some plastic hose but it was not clear which would seem to be best for viewing air bubbles. Have to measure the nip and try Home Depot for clear tubing. I'll post the diameter here if I find a good one.
