Few ????
First off, i was using a Dynotune nitrous setup and i still am using the solenoid and nozzels but changed to a 2.5lb bottle, and am using my old 20oz for my air shifter, i have noticed alot of you guys mount your bottle upside down? Is this without the syphon tube or with? And also I have a ? about gearing, i am already 16/44, i notice a slight increase in 60ft and ET from 43 to 44 but am wondering how do i know when i have the perfect gear for my weight? I weigh 260lb suited and the reason i am asking this is i watch to see what other racers use at the track and have noticed a few bikes with like 45 and 47 tooth sprockets and these are usually 1k's and small riders. Anyway just wondering if i just have to buy sprockets until i start slowing down or is there any way to tell? Thanks in advance.

The advice I got from Brock was to gear so you would be as close to the redline in
fourth as possible when crossing the finish line. Others may have different opinions.

Those who are running the nitrous bottle upside down have the siphon tube removed.
How many RPM do you have left and in what gear are you crossing the finish line? If you're not having problems 60fting, and you're not having to shift right before the finish line, I wouldn't be worrying so much about the gearing.
Post up a time slip for us so that we can see what your bike is doing as it's going down the track. I'm interested in seeing your 60fts, and 1/8th mile ET.
Also, what is your track elevation and how is the air?

JD,
I'm 280lb, 16/44gear and cross the 1/8 line very top of 3rd gear.
Hope that helps.

Thanks fellas, i will post up a slip Sat night, i will be running all that day, the only problem is that i will be running an 1/8th mile track, i wont get to hit the 1/4 with the 14 for a few months. But basically what you guys are saying is that i need to be the closest to redline at the end of the track (1/8) to have the right gearing?

That MPH is way off for sure .. The track timing ( MPH ) has to be way off at that track .. 6.17 is getting it done at your weight , Good job ... 6.17 should be a High 9.30s to 9.40s at 147 MPH or somewhere close to that ... You should be 118 to 119 in the 1/8 mile ..
