Not yet, mine is on the bench. Looking at a manual switches, PMR etc. maybe wire straight to battery and inline fuse.
HPC instructions has you splice into factory fan and a different factory fuse. Not saying that is bad, just looking a all the options.

not exactly...
...but maybe this will help -

The 10" car fan moves ( I think ) about 210% of the stock fan, give or take and draws about as much current. I did have to space the radiator out about 3/8" on the bottom, but besides this it was a part for part swap. I would prefer it came on a little earlier, maybe 10 degrees or so, but it does work.

Thanks Dave I will look at the link. When I install the Muzzy M14 I purchased from Shane I will install the brace that came with the exhaust that moves the left side of the radiator out some. It looks like if I move the radiator out much more it will hit the fairing opening?? But I will make a brace to move the bottom too. The HPC($50.00) is a 7 inch or so and about 2.5 inches thick. I know it is weird of me but I hate to cut into the factory wires. The PMR switch will also let me have 12V for a GPS or Radar Detector with the second switch. And just wire straight to battery with inline fuse for second fan and GPS. Old Guy had a good idea too and explained where he slpiced into his wires. I am going to look at Monster Cables 12V harness or ???

I just installed the HPC fan on my 07. You have to tear half of the bike apart and nearly remove the radiator. I wired into the existing fan and replaced the fuse like it said to. I took it out for a spin and the meter only reached one bar over half way. This was on about a 75 degree day. You can really feel the hot air being pulled through both those fans now. I think its going to make a huge diff.
