I currently have stock pads, but I have EBC HH sintered front and rear pads on the workbench and ready to mount.

I have used EBC HH pads on previous bikes that needed an improvement in brakes, but on ZX14, I have not found the need for extra braking power with the stock setup.

Double-H Sintered Pads
Europe's ECE R90 approved pad.
These pads benefit from the highest friction HH rating for maximum stopping power, made from sintered copper alloy like original pads for longer life and perfect braking under all riding conditions, wet, dry, hot or cold. When required, unique stainless steel radiator plates are fitted to reduce heat transer into bikes hydraulics. The unique double segment vented design keeps the pads cooler and prevents pad drag and overheat or fade.
EBC broke into the sintered pad market, it took all the current market offerings, tested them, analyzed them and beat them. removing the iron powders commonly used in many sintered pads that cause the pad to "weld" to the disc under corrosion when the bike is parked and replaced it with stainless powder. We took out several other particles which our competitors still use which caused massive disc damage and created our launch material. After five years and millions of sets sold we upgraded the formulation again to our SB101C material which completely eliminated BRAKE NOISE, improved the pads HEAT CYCLING CAPABILITY and improved feel. What we have today for the faster rider is the pinnacle of sintered copper alloy engineering, researched and tested in our own laboratories by engineers with over 50 years experience in sintered pad technology.
NOW ECE R90 APPROVED
What does R90 mean? Cheap and nasty motorcycle brakes are the quickest way to an accident no matter where or how you ride. EBC Brakes welcomes the new legislation on ECE R90 brake safety testing that shuts the door on unworthy parts. Until recently all EBC Brakes were tested by the notorious German TUV test centres and carried the KBA (German Motor Vehicle Organisation) certification number. EBC Brakes announce after extensive multi-model testing at the MIRA (Motor Industries Research Association) test track located at Nuneaton, UK, that both EBC Kevlar® organic pads and EBC Double-H sintered pads have been approved.
These pads are much better than OEM stock I Highly recommend buying these . Stock OEM brake pads are inferior to these pads the only down fall is you need to replace them sooner. But worth the extra money I just bought my second set i am replacing after 17K hard riding miles and a couple of track days. 130.00 for front and back . I could have bought cheaper ones for half that price . But brakes & tires are to important to go cheap.

Ceramic brake pads are generally quieter and lower dusting than most OEM pads and organic based brake pads. Many ceramic formulations offer extremely low dusting characteristics, preventing dust from accumulating on your wheels. COOL, CLEAN, QUIET

The Galfer HH pads are sintered metal & ceramic composition. In my book the best pad you can buy. This is just a little info about the pads. Ceramic pads meet or exceed all original equipment standards for durability, stopping distance and noise. Ceramic compounds extend brake life compared to most other semi-metallic and organic materials and outlast other premium pad materials by a significant margin – with no sacrifice in noise control, pad life or braking performance. Akebono and Raybestos both say their durability testing has shown significantly longer life. Ceramic brake pads offer great braking performance, wear well over time and are very lightweight -- all of which are important for high-performance driving.
