I run "Oxford Heated Grips", An English product. They work well. Suggest that if you do install any heated grips that you take your electrical "source" from some where that only has power when the engine is running. That way if you forget to shut off and walk away you don't come back to a dead battery. Also agree with the previous comment that heated gloves work better than heated grips. Only pain with them is the extra electrical connection to yourself evey time you mount/dismount.

Hm. I ordered the Oxford Hot Grips on Ebay, but they sent me the Hot Hands instead- the Hot Hands are a velcro wraparound detachable setup. Nice, but I was looking forward to having the larger grips on the bike. I dont like the narrow grips that come from the factory, hard on the carpal tunnel in my wrists.

Anyone in Washington St. want to buy them off me? $40 if you get them before I get around to shipping them back.

Very true, but worth it on those 30ish degree rides. Toasty old hands keep the rest of Me warmer, it seems.
My Cortech Scarabs seem good enough once its over 45.

Sticks, try posting them over at PNW. (or have Gillberg do it) I seem to remember members looking for some.

haha..... I guess I'm gilberg now. I recently got the Tracksie Grip Heater. It's a heater element that goes UNDER the grip. It has a high and low toggle switch and from what I understand high can only be used if it's VERY cold outside as they are very effective. I might be installing them today, I'll let you know how it turns out.

I would not waste my money on heated grips, been there done that. compared to heated gloves they don't work worth a shit to put it nicely. Ran the heated grips on my FJR that even had a fair amount of wind protection from the fairing and the grips worked I won't even say well to about 50 degrees. My gerbings heated gloves are nice and toasty all around my hand and fingers tested for 7 hrs in 24 degree weather and my hands sweat. have used them down to 15 degrees. plus the transfer to however many bikes you have.
