Received the brackets today Lyle. I had just gotten home, and good thing because I had to sign for them.

Compton, are you still sending the ZX-10 fender??

Still looking for one. I have the brackets from dubious, but Compton never sent the fender, so I'm searching for one.

I have modified the the new brackets for the concern Compton had with lowered forks.
They just got back from the water jet Friday.

Although I had my frt end strapped right down several times and never had issue, I want everyone to be safe.

Make sure you have full clearance between the bracket and the fork seals by pulling the brackets forward on the top oversized, non threaded hole.

you can see what I mean in this picture here.

yeah that edge is what caught my dust seal on mine. my forks are lowered a lot internally and maybe sit less than an inch higher than that edge.

i still cant believe i didnt notice it sooner, you can see on the lower forks the travel was stopped by the brackets.

That 's what I did to the one's (old style) that you sent me Dubious. I took a small cutting wheel to the top of the brackets and rounded off the top away from the dust seal.

By the way the brackets work great and the ZX10 fender looks very cool on the 14. I purchased an 07 ZX10 fender in CP Blue. Thanks again.
