Brake rotors
I've read about warped rotors but never had one until now at 14.5 K. My 2007 bikes out of warranty, what should I get as a replacement, EBC?

Check your pins on the rotors to make sure they are floating like they should. You should be able to walk the pins some from side to side, if not, they could feel like the rotors are warped.

Where are these pins on the rotors I like to check mine, so if they are floating you should be able to move em a lil?If they cannot be moved is there a way to free em up?

It's the pins that hold the rotors to the carriers at the wheel hubs.

Hmmm. Thats interesting because it really feels more like a rapid pulse thru the lever than a warped rotor. If it is the rotor pins, what can I do about it? Replace 'em???

Try cleaning them, using a parts cleaning fluid, the one that comes in a srpay can. That's the reason that the pins are there and must float around, so that is the rotors are slightly warped, the rider won't feel them. Not saying the rotors could not be warped, but worth a try.

He's right, heard it mentioned a few times in the past that the 'pins' caused it. One guy actually beat his with a sledge hammer and freed it (he had new ones on hand), and the other guy took his off, found it was straight after removal and put it back on with no problems.

Use brake cleaner and compressed air.
Mine stopped feeling warped when I scrubbed the rotor faces with brake cleaner and green scrubber sponge.
Old nascar tip I picked up somewhere.
Uneven brake pad deposits from hitting hot brakes hard at track days made the rotors feel warped on next street ride.
Didnt notice it at the track.
But using particle brakes on the street made it show up.
