Real men ride their bikes over and back. This little chill is nothing. Now the rain we got caught in on the way home last year. That was bad.

Not when you're going over to race on the Daytona track like we did last year.
Rather hard to ride a track bike over and carry tire warmers, stands, tools, spare tires, all fluids, gas cans, generator for tire warmers, coolers, leathers, etc etc etc
This is how we rolled:

us at the track (two bikes on the right)

I'll be flying into Tampa from Miami, Friday, and if the weather is nice I'll come from the airport, get the Yamaha out of the garage, and ride over there to watch the AMA races
on Friday night and hang out Saturday night, hope to see you all there

That should be like riding a Cadilac compaired to my bike. With that full fairing I can tuck in and miss a lot of the cold. I tend to ride a lot faster when it's cold so I can get out if it quicker so I would be sitting at home long before you. You're in for a long day if you plan on comming home at that hour. We usually do the dusk till dawn trip. oldcowboy I'll stop by the tent and say hi if your around on thursday. Would be nice to meet you.

Will be checking out Daytona next year. What are some of the hot spots for sport bikes? Thanks.

oldkawboy-Is your Kawasaki booth outside the Race track, in the front? I'm going out there this afternoon for a few hour solo and wanted to browse around.
Zixxer14(Scott)- I'll call ya Thursday to see what time you'll be there and where you may want to meet. I've been in Daytona twice since it began and I've yet to see a ZX14 there(riding or sitting).
Lee, Steve, & Dave- Would like to see yall also(with a complimentary refreshment on me for 1st go around). I need to pair up with someone that has been before to get up to speed on the hot spots and the "must see" areas. I live in Sanford and if yall need to crash for the night or the need to get some sleep before travel, let me know and I could acccommodate(keep in mind I sleep with one eye open ).

During the AMA 200 race Friday, we'll be between the infield bleachers. I'm flying from Miami to Tampa, them picking up my bike and and meeting some folks at the track.
Eric's White Dodge truck will be parked next to the bleachers. Full view of international horseshoe turns. Or PM me for phone number if you're going to be at races and care to find us.
For those using GPS or Google earth to find our vehicle at the track, it will be parked right next to the bleacher at the following coordinates:
29° 11.136'N
81° 4.149'W
Look forward to meeting some of you there!

Sounds cool Steve... What time approximately on Firday? I assumed these AMA races will be inside the Daytona track(I will look into this on the internet), what is the fee for admission and are there any attendee secrets(best place to park, entry location for lowest lines, etc...)? I appologize for my novice questions but I've been there twice riding and that area is busy as hell!!!! I don't havea GPS yet but look at my most recent thread and I had a quick question that you could shine some light on. I will send you a PM for your number, peace......

SupermanT, the webmaster can't seem to fix the PMs. you can e-mail me at stevewfl@yahoo.com. I'll be there at this precise location in the infield during the race:
29° 11.136'N
81° 4.149'W
Danny, looking forward to seeing you again too!

By the way, expect our typical Florida winter weather when you arrive at Daytona.
