A decent suspension guide

I'm dialing in my new suspension these days, when it isnt pouring rain. Just thought I'd share a decent guide I found;

http://www.sportrider.com/suspension_settings/146_0402_suspension_setup_guide/index.html

And this has the mags settings they settled on

http://www.sportrider.com/bikes/146_suspension_settings/index5.html

It should give a starting point for folks who are just getting into playing with their suspension.
Most of us need to respring but this might help in the meantime .

At the deceased 14 site there was a couple of threads that folks refered to when posters came asking. Figured I'd start ANOTHER one here. Its getting close to riding season in many states.
Southern guys excluded.

Seeing how I use my 14 for everything but drag racing I thought I'd share it.
Hell, my poor bike has even seen about 100 miles of pure off roading!!!
Mount St. Helens and riding logging roads to hang with my off road buds.

Great post, I am a suspesion idiot. The bike is three years old now and it is still on the stock settings. It seems to be set up decent for the track with the extended arm. I have never done any messing around with the front forks, I know Ricky Gadson wrenches them down tight when he grabs a new bike. I may have to do some playing around with it this year.

you don't want to do that brotha! feedback and turn in are lost with the forks that stiff. it may be good for straight lines but not anything else. trial and error is the only way to go. i personally didn't even like them too tight in straight lines either.
