This is a great site for our 14's. Especially if you are into dragging. Alot of VERY knowledgeable Cats here.
Some posted rides. You might see if there is a IL. sportbike site for that .
You will run into 14 owners in your neck of the woods at this site though.
Use the search for various topics or just post your questions. you'll get opinions AND 1st hand experience.
WELCOME!!

WELCOME!!
This is a great site, lots of great info and unbelievable mods, wow! I plan to venture out even more this year, kinda tired of hitting the same roads in IL and WI. Love my annual week long trip to the Gap though. I need to hit my home state of MI, can't believe I haven't done that yet. Gotta site with my homies in IL here, 3 ZX-14s, a ZX 12 and other Kawi 650 and 600s, who can never keep up. LOL I'll be doing more free runs at Great Lakes Drag strip this year, that shit is addictive! I’m also on http://www.chicagolandsportbikes.com/ always a group ride happening but I love riding with my homies because we know our styles and never have any problems.
Does anyone prefer riding in small vs. large groups? After some funky experiences last year I prefer small groups unless I know the other riders very well.

3-4 to a group max. Too many more, too much waiting, too many issues, etc.
Went on a ride with 2 cats from local web site.
60 hp motard (R1 in shop)
and another 14.
Had a hell of a time with motard in twisties!!
was doubling the limit on back road & met State cop coming at us.
He let noisy speeding bikes go.
If there was more though.....,

That settels it for me, just wanted to see if I was the only one thinking this. I went on a large group ride from a local site as well and it was a total disaster! Squids on 600s crashing, cops pulled all 11 of us over, 3 of them formed a road block, each got $500 tickets! That's f*ckn mod money! I'm just sticking to my 4 man group of ZX 14s and continue to stay problem free.
