zx14 stainless throttle plates- who wants em?
Chip hunter will make another run of the stainless throttle plates for our zx14's.
He needs 5 customers to do so.

Boosted bikes need em as the aluminum stockers will bend if you turn it up!

I am not sure about these. Let me tell you why...
Racheal's Turbo Busa has stock throttle plates. It has run up to 19.5 lbs. without a problem. However, after hitting the limiter at high boost it did bend the plates.
I got to thinking about it a bit. The energy wave from that backfire had to go somewhere. If it didn't get released by bending the throttle plates...where was it going to go? I wonder if it might otherwise have hurt something in the engine (bent rod, etc)?
Now, that is only 19.5 lbs. of boost; I don't know how high you are planning to go. If the problem is that the boost itself is bending them, that is a different story.

Starting at 10 psi, and hoping to hit 28-30 PSI sometime in the summer.
Slow and easy, tuning it small steps at a time...
I want it to survive, so I will be doing alot of data logging, real world testing and tuning after the initial dyno tune.

Well, I know I a lot of Busa guys do run the stainless plates....so there must be something to it.
Do you know how much it is going to be for a set?
