I'm curious too.
Fell in love with the burnt orange unit.
Just hate to think of pulling all the suspension and engine stuff off.
Plus redoing another set of forks, another PCIII and custom mapping.
Plus another $5,000 or so to purchase the 09.
Unlike dubious and others I don't have a big motorcycle budget. ( ENVY ;-) )
Almost talking myself out of this!

Lol last time I was at the dealership they tried to get me to trade mine in and get the orange/black one. I couldn't justify somewhere around 5grand for a new color when my 06 only has 6000 miles

The 2008 Special edition…. Very nice! I almost traded in my 07 Diablo Black one when I saw it for the first time.

I am sure you will like it.

08-09 has finer 8 hole injectors instead of 6. Revised piston dome on 08-09 and stronger bottom and midrange. It's down a few hp on top and you need to go with a full exhaust and PC to match the 1st gen there. No biggy, most feel at lest a set of slipons is a must anyway. Spend another 500, get the whole system, loose all the weight, gain back the missing hp and then some!!!!!!
