New best today. Not a 8.999 but getting close
Since the last time out I put in a new clutch, and switched to 16/44 gearing. The clutch made a huge difference, it was almost hard to get used to it after being used to my worn out original. It didnt want to slip at all, it just wanted to grab hard. I like the gearing much better, but I could still use more in the rear I think. If I tried to get off the clutch quickly it wanted to bog, so Im still having to ride the clutch out pretty far. I think I could go up to a 47 or even a 48 maybe and run through in the top of 5th. The 16/44 puts me about in the middle of 5th when I cross the traps. Well anyways I started getting used to the extra gear and length. My best mph for the day was a 152.135 which I was really suprised with. But most of my passes were 149-150. I was at 64" with the old gear and now the 44 pulled the rear in almost an inch I think. I was fighting wheelies all day. I couldnt believe that with 63" I was still fighting wheelies. By the end of the day I had my power race over 30psi and it was still hooking up great. Im thinking of adding some more gear and putting it back to 64".
This is what my best pass of the day looked like
1.402
3.781
5.782 @ 122.847
7.524
9.029 @ 149.855
I ran a couple of 9.0's and a bunch of 9.1's. If I can pull some 1.3x 60's and the air is as good as it was today I think I can get into the 8's on motor. My 60's started at high 1.4x's and by the end of the day they were all in the low 1.4's. So with some more seat time I think I can hit my goal.
What do you guys think. How does the slip look?

Looks great. I told you that 16/44 will keep the wheel up. You are definately gonna have to stretch it more to add any more gear. The 60ft is real good too. You have a good clutch hand and will have your 8 soon as the bike is. Mine has done the same thing,148-150mph and out of nowhere comes a 153.

Right on, good luck with the lockup, looking forward to your results. How long do you have your bike setup?

Good job Racers you will have those 8s no problem and what is your weight im 170 suited just for gearing purposes i will be running 16-42. If i can ever get that damn shift light figured out.I got the launch controller workin man that is bad ass. cant go too far on the throttle after the rpm dial in. loads up with fuel shoots flames out the exhaust and backfires.but should help me get my 60ft dialed in by 100 rpm increments, so i know where i can come off the line without getting in over my head.

Yesterday i was 209lbs in my boxers. Ive found that its not so much the rpm that you leave at but how you get off the clutch that makes the big difference.

Job well done !!! I don't think your 60 is stopping you as much as your 330 times ... I have run 1.45 and still pulled off 8s .... Your 330 needs to come down .. I'm sure your wheelies are causing you not to get to full throttle fast ...Maybe a 16/41 16/42 or 43 would calm down the wheelies ... Anyway you did great , keep up the good work ..
