Upgraded my gearing today!

Purchased a 16/43 Vortex set. Got the BLACK one. Just felt like sharing. Can't wait to crack it open this spring!

Yep, purchasing the speedohealer before riding season too.

Hey Dubious! What will my top speed to being unrestricted and 16/43 gearing? 180?
You've done all the match before so figured I'd ask.

According to the Gearing Commander site a 16/43 pulls 187 MPH at 11,000 RPM.

I'll have to stop by Tri State strip sometime to check it out this summer. Never been down there to it.

With that gearing do you ever feel like the bike is running out of steam when running higher speeds? I would imagine you get a real arm ripping sensation when you take off but on the big end do you feel like she's tapped-out early? Thanks.

gearingcommander.com says at 11k rpms with a 17/45 setup you should hit 190mph. Doesn't sound too early to me if your bike is unrestricted. At 20k rpms it should hit 345mph...haha.

16/43 says 187mph.
