PC 3: Use of 08 PC on '07
I'm looking for feedback on whether to put the '08 PC the Ebay seller sent me on my '07 ZX-14.
My research found that the PC for '06 and '07 are compatable, but these are not compatable with the '08. However, a mechanic tells me if I put the PC for the '08 on my '07 and it works, then no harm no foul..... Question is, could there be some harm caused by doing so! I'd appreciate feedback from anyone with experience in this area. Thanx!

No problem. Just load the MAP in you want and go. If you have trouble loading a MAP load in a stock 07 MAP then paste the MAP you want. I had to do this paste trick to use an 06 ZX10 PC3 on my 06 ZX14. Had to first load the stock 06 ZX10 MAP then I could paste any MAP I wanted over top. Solves a lot of problems.

Thanks, Ratbyk! I am just concerned about damaging the bike in some way.... Am also wondering why PC says the '07 PC 3 is not for use on an '08 bike. Guess it's all about the marketing and sales, huh? Peace, man!
