need help with my speedo and tach
So today I turned on my bike and while doing the needle sweep the speedo and tach didn't come back to zero. for what ever reason the speedo stops at 5 mph and the tach stops at 1 grand. and the tach stays off by a thousand no matter what.
So What is up. why is it doing this and how can I fix it? HELP ME!!!

Well, i just went through this twice, you need to take the needles off, and try to put them right on the peg without going past the peg , it might take a few trys but you will get it, just plug it up with it apart, and check it.

I would just leave it and see if it fixes itself. Not that big a deal as long as they read the rest of the scale correctly.
Did you try disconnecting your battery for 10 minutes?

battery did nothing for me. so i took the needles off. fixed the problem. thanks guys!
