swingarm adjustment

ok well finally had some decent weather to get out and ride on the roaring toys extensions spinning like crazy, i knew i was too long came back home and took chain apart and was gonna shoten it as much as the extensions would allow but the damn brake hanger isnt slotted long enough to go forward as much as i want. anyone else experience this or know what im even talking about.....i need to go about 2 inches further in. right now the black axle block is even with the 4th line from the back of extension.....right now the Center of the axle is 4 3/4 inches from the TIP of the stock arm.....

Try rotating the brake bracket 180 degrees. The one that is bolted to the extension.

u can rotate it, i thought of that....but the brake hanger dont allow for that much movement forward. its not slotted long enough to slide further forward.

Well, sounds like you need to slot it more. Can you post some pictures?

Can you measure your current brake hanger, just the barrel of it. I have one that came with my swingarm from McIntosh that was too short (they sent me the wrong one). If it will work for you, I'll send it for a few bucks to cover shipping.

I am at work right now so I can't measure the one I have.

Send me an email to my house to remind me....

pazx - well unless im doing something totally wrong..... the roaring toys is 2-8 inches of adjustment but due to the stock brake hanger bracket it makes the first 4 inches basically un-usable. so its like i have to sit it out longer than what i wanted... i wanted about 4 inches over from stock location which would put the axle basically towards the beginning of the extension, but the furthest i could go in was the 4th line from the back of the extension. i was wanting the back tire even or maybe a inch past tail. i dont know...im sure all the extensions are made the same.... how r u guys getting 62" and less???????
