Buell Peg Mod Info?
I have a set of Buell pegs. They look to be about .10 too wide to fit in the factory slot. In addition, the hole for the pin needs enlarged. I also noticed they have a gusseted area, and I am not certain if that will need removed.
There was a link for a document that detailed the mods needed, but that link is no longer working. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'd like to find out the full details of the swap. Thanks.

Shane - BTW - I found the Buell Peg set-up problematic for LSR - Aerodynamically. The notch in the pegs prevented the ability to pull your foot in tight.... I switched back to stock - and eventually installed regular adjustable racing pegs.

BTW - If you are interested I could look for mine - and if I find them you are welcome to them already ground and ready to go.

That's a good tip on the pegs splaying your feet out. I didn't think of that.
Did you use rearsets? What type of pegs? I am looking to go a little lower and back on the pegs. I was thinking of rearsets, but then I would have modify my airshifter setup.

What tey look like installed. Not a problem for me, but my shifter is offset out a little also. I find them perfect for me.

A different model on my Concours. I like them also

Shane - yes - I have the rearsets - I will take a look and get the brand - I bought for the same reason - I will get some pictures for you. The problem that I was trying to solve was getting my elbows and feet in for better aero. I think we are both about the same size. mufflers are a problem - Brock set up. I melted two sets of boots at Bonneville - five mile flat out and the exhaust gets a bit hot.

Shane, here is a link to a good "how to" write up on a different site.
I used it to install mine and it was easy to follow.
