New ZX14? A tip about the Monster Energy brand
Hey heads up, several news outlets are reporting Monster Energy is now sponsoring Yamaha's Rossi!

well if someone bought the monster edition zx14 or the zx6, then they MIGHT care. I mean I have a Kawasaki/Monster Energy Pro circuit tshirt and I'm dissapointed that kawi doesn't have that sponser anymore. (not cuz of a tshirt though).

Oh I like the branding no matter what its on 
Somde that specifically follow the brand and the marriage between Kawasaki and Monster may be discouraged by the news and not want a bike with Monster on it.
Personally I'm discouraged Kawasaki elected to withdraw from MotoGP

I'm just curious to how Kawi is gonna handle this. Will they have to change the 09 color schemes? They certainly can't keep offering a Monster Edition on their website, right?
Good thing for the already owners that those decals take 2 min to peel off- the bike IMO will look even better in just black and very subtle green on the foremans and wheels. BTW why didn't Kawi offer the model with green wheels, but had to cheap out and put a lame pinstripe? Those pinstripes are $15 on ebay and look even cheaper in person.

HA HA! That would be pretty senseless for someone to spend EXTRA money on the Moster Edition then PEEL off the stickers just because Kawi no longer has a relationship with them.

So just because they are sponsoring Rossi, that means they are done with Kawasaki??
Where are yall reading this at??
I was watching Supercross the other day and a couple non-Kawasaki riders were sponsored by Monster...but yet the Kawasaki guys like Villipoto and Weimer still had Monster on their bikes.

You're right -
Actually Monster is done with sponsoring Kawasaki road racing in MotoGP by default because Kawasaki is no longer going to compete.
I haven't heard of how Monster will handle their other sponsorships, I guess we'll know specifics when Monster makes their formal announcement.
But to not sponsor Kawasaki roadracing, it obviously won't seem right to have an "M" on a Kawasaki "R" model bike. Especially since Kawasaki "withdrew" and another brand is in the spotlight with the Monster Energy "M"

I still don't get whats the big deal?? Monster Energy is not owned by Kawasaki. They can sponsor whoever and whatever company they choose. Shit they even sponsored Kenny Bernstein's Dodge Charger NHRA Funny Car. Everywhere you look its Monster Energy, so whats the big deal if its on Rossi's Yamaha???

as long as monster still sponsors the rickey gadson coby adams zx14 thats all that should matter 2 the folks that have the monster zx14 .the people with the 10s &6smight be bummed a little though.

I love the looks of the monster 14. Almost as nice as my Ducati/Ferrari Red 06!
I get behind anyone who backs bike racing. Dont like the taste of their drinks though.

I think I heard there wuz going 2B a recall on 09 Monster Energy bikes. Rip off stickers 4 free! Dealers R not allowed to sell any until they inspect and rip off any remaining stickers. If you own a Monster bike you must bring in for inspection and have all Monster stickers remover or your warranty will not be valid. LOL LOL
