i'm running a JT 16t front sprocket on my bike now and couldn't be happier... I never got a really clean pass at the track last weekend, and It still ran 2 tenths and 4-6mph better through the 1/8th :O

I just purchaded my ZX-14 last month and most of the mod's were done when I got it. I have 17/42 Vortex rear. I am looking for a steel rear sprocket, 42 or 43 now that my chain has been adjusted four times now....:-) My friend was able to install a Vortex 43 after his stock chain was streached out a bit. I never liked soft metal rear sprockets they never last as long.
