ELKA SHOCK GROUP BUY ?????
So.....................
I have been talking with ELKA suspension, and John sharrard from acelerated technologies
about getting ELKA to build a zx14 rear shock.
Currently ELKA does not make one for the zx14, my bike and oem shock will basically be the prototype for the build,
Elka has informed me that if I could get 10 people to come on board for a group by they would cut 10% off of everyones price.
I know, I know 10% aint' much but, once your in so deap, "every little bit counts".
If there is any interest, please reply to this thread and I will pursue this offer from Elka.
Prices....... I have pasted a piece from my emails for you guys to take a look at........
"RR or PB46CR/2 way: retail - $875, group buy – $787.50 ( 10% off)
RR or PB46CR/ 3 way: retail - $985, group buy - $886.50 (10% off)
These prices above are for the RR (remote reservoir) or PB (piggyback) shocks without remote hydraulic preload. To add hydraulic preload, add $220.
So, $1007.50 2 way with remote hydraulic preload adj.,
or $1086.50 for the Cadillac: 3 way with remote hydraulic preload adj.
We would need 10 units total to proceed.

UPDATE:
Each shock will come with a custom spring, based on weight and swing arm length.

Well that is not cheap but its fair,Put me down as one of your ten.I have been thinking of buying a rear shock so this will fit the bill.Will these shocks be sent from Canada?

UPDATE: I have been informed that they are willing to give 15% off, for everyone !!!!

Yes, they will be sent from Canada.
