The helmet that "LAB3" is speaking of is a very good match, I have been where he is. I searched high and low and the VOX and the Nitro are as close as I could find. I think he may dislikes the style of the helmet more than the color. The info I gave was NOT wrong.

I am holding the helmet in the sun light next to my ZX-14..sorry Dude but there is No Way it is a perfect match, too much silver. More silver metallic than Black. The only thing I can think of is that not all 2007 Metallic Black Zx-14 are the same. Or your ZOX has less silveer metallic. But No Way this is a Perfect match like you posted. I could get use to the Different style of the rear of the helmet if matchd the kaw paint. Oh well screw it I am sending it back and buying a Shoei RF. It does not have enough silver metallic in it as I found one local and set it on the seat. Man this has been a Major Pain finding a matching helmet, Thanks for trying to help but the ZOX is not a Match, for my bike.
Returning the ZOX and went with the Shoei RF1000 metallic black, better helmet and Chaparral was cool about the return and the RF1000 was $301.00 good price.

IMO I think a solid metallic black would look better, if it matched the bike. Hey I have a multi colored Busa decal I will give you as I did not like it either.... Busa is gone...:-)....now I need a 421 exhaust.

I've put many miles last summer on a white zx14 and a blue gsx-r with this helmet.
Didn't mean to pick on you earlier, just want to tell you it's o'k if they're not a perfect
match! Save yourself the agrivation and get a "close" match.

Nahhh... dragons are lame... it was a birthday gift though, so I didn't think exchanging it
would be very apropriate. It's not matching anything, but was great to me the whole summer

I dont much care what graphics are on a helmet, the RF-1000's and such are nice!

The X-11 vents a little bit better than the RF-1000 IMO.
The later has the $200 or so advantage though, wich is a factor as well.
I might give Arai a shot this season. Their new flagship line looks promising.

I looked at X-11 too, but I have had several RF in the past and liked them. Good buy for $301.00 and free 2nd day air. I have a Arai Astral (red and white) I use for my FJ1200 and was suprised it had more wind noise than a my RF900 Shoei. Arai is so expensive but so is a X-11. I was looking at what the difference is as the RF is so much less than a X-11.
My Arai is 2 years old and the front vent came loose on one side. I had to Super glue it back on. Suprised as I take good care of my riding gear. Never had a problem with a Shoei,

Cool Helmet, March issue 2008 Cycle World 2X2 ZX-14 vs Busa they also tested the ZX-10
and their test rider Canet is wearing this Shoei riding a ZX-10. My Metallic Black Shoei RF1000 arrived and it is really close to the 2007 ZX-14 Metallic Black. Great Helmet I really like the fit and it is Quiet ...:-).Finally done with this hassle.
