Matching Helmet??
I have a 2007 ZX-14 Black Metalic. I am looking for a helmet that matches the bike.

Nice site, I'll check there when I know what to get.
It's hard to match your bike color on the internet. I know because I've missed twice.
Anybody know which helmet is a good color match to the 06 blue and the 07 black.

12 - the Shoei flip-up that I used is very close:

That is the Syncrotech, but Shoei has upgraded to the Multi-tech. I've seen the new one, but not side by side with my old one. The color looked pretty much the same to me.

Thanks.Bill from the Helmet Shop is looking, he said the Shoei RF1000 was Metallic Black
and he is looking for a better picture to send me. I am going look local and see if it matches
the Diablo Metallic Black. When the hits the paint the silver really shows up. Looks really different from most metallic black paint I have seen.

I did, they were too small. I need XL and he does have some good deals but none Black either..................or Blue for the other member who is looking too.

I have the same color bike. I ordered this helmet from Chaparral, it matches the bike perfectly. NItro also had a helmet the same color and style.

Chaparral has a nice blue helmet to very closely match that too.

Thanks, Looks like it in the picture. Is the helmet quiet? Wind noise and fit and finish?

The blue looks like it may match.
Wind, noise, fit and finish are very very good and the helmet looks great on the rider. I actually have a Nitro and a Vox. The Nitro says Nitro on the sides and the Vox is plain.

Those lids are heavy though. Get an X-11, or RF1000 if your budget is more limited.
I have two X-11s and swear by their quality, fit and finish.

I have gone buy 2 shops that have Shoei helmets and so far " out of metallic black " in any brand. Toohype so far is the only person that has a metallic Black helmet that " Matches" a 2007. Not a bad looking Full face helmet for$150.00 but I am waiting to See a Shoei.

I never found it to be quite as challenging finding the just right helmet, good luck with it

I just opened the box from Chaparral it Does Not Match. The ZOX Metallic Black has Too much silver in it. I will look again tomorrow in the sun light maybe it will look better.....I knew I should have waited or just purchased a Metallic Balck Shoei RF that is close but not enough silver.....and the style of the back of the VOX Specrta helmet is Different...you don't see this is the picture on the web site. I hate it.hope they will trade for a new Shoei.

Your bike will loose some midrange power with the missmatched helmet.
If I were you I'd get a white/ red helmet- you're going to notice torque gains with it!
You can always paint the bike to match if they don't exchange the helmet LOL

Did you think of this all on your own??? I take a members advice and it is Wrong. If you think it is Funny I wasted my money you must stil be in High School. Hang in there Sunshine you will Mature some day. There are other members here with a 2007 Metallic Black ZX-14 with same problem I have,

Most people who care will simply get a helmet with a multi color decal kit on it so that it can "match" almost any bike. FYI
