lol with the economy the way it is... I'm glad that we're hurting for my rate. i just re-enlisted for 44,000 in may. I wouldn't be surprised if we start seeing a lot more people getting back in.

Do you know AW2 David Vaneman? He's a P-3 crewman out of brunswick ME. Kind of a weird little skinny kid that's really into video games lol. He's good people though

I actually don't know that many people outside of my squadron.

I think I like the idea of a new exhaust and pcIII but I was thinking that maybe gears and a steering damper might better suite me. I do have 5 months to decide

Hmm, I take it "gears and a steering damper" means rollons with friends and cornering? Right up my alley since thats all I do. Contrary to what alot of guys on here claim, I dont believe a steering damper is much if any use on the 14. Most bikes benefit from a damper though! And maybe if you are a under 200lb rider there might arise a need for it once or twice in the bikes lifetime, but for the rest of us it's just a nice doodad to show off with.

I still fully stand by my statement that you need a full exhaust, though. The weight savings alone make a world of difference in handling!

On my scale the stock '06 mufflers are 14 lbs. each and the stock '06 header was 9.7 lbs. My Yoshimura header is 6 lbs. and the stainless pipe/muffler is 6 lbs.

Thanks to the replies to my "M4 slipons are too loud" thread I installed a Yoshimura full stainless exhaust. There "may be" factory discounts in 2-5 months. I absolutely love the quality, fit, workmanship and sound. Due to the adjust ability of each header tube it installed first time without any leaks.

I was thinking along the lines of PCIII, no flies, steel braided lines, and steering damper. I don't know if I'd use everything in the 200mph kit. I don't know if I like the speedo healer. I don'tknow much about it, but from what I've read, it messes up the shift light, not sure what else. I want to drag race but I don't kknow if I'll ever need to go 200mph
