what wheelbase?
actually ive never measured wheelbase on my bikes, just threw on adjustable arm and added or removed links until she hooked on the street. i do alot of street racing.... barely ever go to track. just wondering whats a good starting wheelbase for the street with 16/43 gearing for the 14? right now im on the michelin 2ct tires and im about to swap over to the u-soft shinko rear, that michelin is toooooo expensive to burn up and right now thats all im doing is spinning.... granted it is cold out so i know thats a factor but i know im too long, it will not wheelie at all.... no way no how. not even clutch up. also im taking it u measure wheelbase from center of axle to center of axle correct?

I had mine at 64" but could only get good launches at really sticky tracks. I went in to 62.5" and a catalyst seat and can now get high 1.3s to low 1.4s at every track I've been to.

light riders can get away with shorter wheelbase, heavy riders make the bike more wheelie prone. so a longer wheelbase is needed.

The U-soft is a excellent tire for at the strip but street riding tears the shit out of it! I got 3000 out of my 2CT my ultra soft I got 1000 I plan on getting another rear wheel and putting an Avon storm on that wheel for long rides and swapping out the rear. And guys hated riding behind me with my U-soft it picks up everything and throws it. Good price on tires try
