Is your clutch slipping???

If not then why do you need the shims???

How many passes did you get from the clutch?

Getting out of the clutch ASAP is the only way to prolong clutch on a 14

Its still going strong at 50+ passes, just a bit of preventative maintanance. True getting it out asap is going to be the best for the clutch, but getting it out too quickly hasnt worked for me so I drag it some. Do you have those specs by any chance? Im pulling the cover as we speak.

thanks

Dont know off hand for the 14...But the 12 is 8.8 NM - newton meters or .78 INCH lbs.

Not much different...

I dont know what rpm your leaving at but i have 300miles on my 06 all drag strip. When i pulled the clutch last week to look over the motor,it was a waste of time all looks new and the clutch was still at oem spec's. The 14's have one of the best clutches i have seen in a long time.
