speaking of corvettes, two guys in atlanta were running from the police in a vette and ran off the I-75 85 overpass in downtown atlanta, burst into flames, rest in peace!

If you guys see each other frequently (or even ocassionally) you'll get the chance to show him. It will come up again and he'll be just as puffed-up as he was during the initial confrontation and you'll have the distinct pleasure of raising the front end of his Corvette on the wall in your Big Game Room.
When you see him around all his groupies walk up and ask "Did you tell 'em what happened when we finally locked horns? Go 'head, tell 'em what happened." Then look his goofy friend straight in the eye and say "Oh yeah, and you're next." Turn around without another word and walk off. You'll never hear about it again.

Reputation is a big seller of bikes and cars. Most owners don't possess the ability to get near the limits of their vehicles performance envelope. (Present company excepted of course.) Bragging rights mean so much to those people, sounds like you burst his bubble.

i saw a nice black z06 crossing over the bridge (out on an innocent ride) and the driver would not even look my way, they must have got the word about the zx-14

You may be on to something there CR. A few weeks ago, a guy with a car full of cuties revved his engine a couple of times at me while going down the highway. The first time I just kind of shook my head. The second time I started shifting down real quick and the guy immediately gave the universal hand signal of "I don't want any part of that thing". Guess he didn't want to be embarrassed in front of the hotties.

Speaking of Corvette...going back to when me and the "Kaw Krew" took that ride to Mobile, AL we had a very late model vette buzz us while we where minding our business in formation. Before my adrenaline could fully kick in, the last guy in our formation jumped dead on his ass. I followed right up jumping dead behind him. I will admit that the vette is fast because it took us a lil bit to walk him down. Keep in mind that he came past us at full bore as we had the disadvantage of being surprised and being weighed down by gear. Finally after we caught up to him and the fisrt session was over I pulled up next to him and clicked down to 3rd and waved him to take the hit but he didn't want any parts of me. I was gonna light his ass up. Fuck a Corvette because I'm sitting on the ultimate convertible!

ill just say be careful.... if ur skills aint up to par u could be in for some embarrasment. lol....me and a buddy of mine were cruising a section of the lovely 240 loop around Memphis and he was on his 07 cbr 1k and the guys passed me in a late model firebird, solid black. they pulled up next to him and reved the pipes and he downshifted to 3rd and they took off.... i seen the ass end of that car squat at 80mph and i thought aww shit....they pulled about 5 cars on him before they had to let out because of traffic.... needless to say i tried to ruin thier moment by catching up and reving my motor at em but they wouldnt take the bait....so i felt like king even without a race....... and my buddy went and got the 09 zx14 hahahahahhahahah but i was impressed by the car to say the least!

There are cars out there that will definitely jump your shit on he street. The truely fast ones are few and far between though. Usually the only jackasses that mess with me are fart-pipe modified bondo-hondas. There was one Subaru that was really really quick...until his NOS bottle exploded and folded his hood over the roof. LOL Bet his daddy was pissed about that one.

If anyone is ever in pensacola florida and sees a blacked out lancer evo look out... he's running about 26 lbs of boost and is fucking insane. I saw it put the smack down on a lingenfelter vette from a roll. I was riding passenger in the vette and the guy driving it was none too happy.

There's also a buick gn here in san diego (not a street car) that's putting down 1100 hp on a single turbo that runs 4.90's in the 1/8th.

Last time he was out he was running a single turbo at 28... the turbo itself is capable of 60 but the engine can't handle it. I think it used to be twin though.

This is my 08 Z06...a fucking beast that eeks into the 10's bone stock with the right driver (not me -- LOL), but pales in comparison on speed and acceleration against my ZX...
It will however hit a hair under 200 though...with no mods, whereas the ZX can't get there until you do a few things to it. It just amazes me as to some of the idiots out there that just don't get it -- nothing beats bikes in the street...and yet I see so many of these jackoffs who wanna play, because they think they can take a bike --
Hell, even my big heavy pig of a C14 will eat my Z06 in the 1/4...
