low fuel idiot light

I learned you can overide the low fuel warning/impending doom communist take over of the 14 that kawasaki thought would be fun to watch by hitting the mode button within a few seconds of the warning. does it work? I must have missed it in the owners manual.

I tried it today, and was pleasantly surprised when it actually worked. Now if only you could turn off the red light lol.
