What RPM does your bike idle? set it atleast 1000.
Have you checked the pan yourself? I'd check the sensor wire, then manually check pressure, pull pan for trash, clean pickup, then pull oil punp in that order.
It's easy to swap the sensor, or go to walmart automotive section
get a mechanical oil pressure guage for less than $20.
Put it in place of you pickup or testing.
These are not MAC TOOLS but they work well for jobs like this.
I don't think your sensor can get too dirty to work, you bearings would give up long before that.

Check pressure with a gauge, if good, could be a short in the wire. I pinched mine between the motor and sprocket cover.

Are you saying you had trash in your sensor?
That sensor screws into the cases on the end of the oil valley that feeds the crank.
If you had trash it would also be feeding into the crank, and bearing life would surely be low.
That oil should already be filtered.

Bingo, that explains it.
You could get trash in there somehow during a rebuild, but not doing normal operation.
It also could have be left over from when the engine blew.
