E85 performance
Anyone here test E85 on a dyno or on the track ? I am going to try to run it and I am trying to figure out the best way to get the extra fuel in the motor. I am thinking about increasing the fuel pressure , I am not sure that the power commander and fuel injectors at the stock pressure can handle the volume.
If I can get that working, I will try E85 + nitrous:-)
any help is always appreciated

I would just change the lines to stainless braided lines (e85 will eat rubber). I believe the stock fuel pump will put out 250ish whp. If that is correct, then you will be ride on the boarder or what the fuel pump can do.
175/250=0.70
Meaning if your bike puts out 175 whp right now, you are running at about 70% fuel pump capacity (very safe). However since the pump has an estimated limit of 250 whp on dino gas, e85 will be running the fuel pump at the same level at just 175 whp. That is because you need to add roughly 27-30% more e85 then pump gas. So, you will be dangerously close to running near the stock fuel systems capacity with minor bolt-ons. I don't know how well the injectors are built or what their capacity is, and I'm not even sure how accurate my numbers are with the pump capacity, but I have a feeling that running e85 and nitrous on the 14 will be out of the question unless you have upgraded the entire fuel system (pump, plumbing, injectors).
Good luck
