2008 Fuel pump?

Why did they change the fuel pump on the 08's? Will the 08 pump fit earlier models?
Looks like the same bolt pattern,08 pump doesn't have the big piece sticking downward
making it possible to lower the bike more?

Hey, that looks fantastic! Like I might not need to change swingarms if I install that pump. I wonder if it is a direct swap?

Then again, it is $241 retail....

I hear the 08 injector are bigger, we can only guess what they did to the pump.

without the sump the bike will probably be more sensative to fuel level and acceleration.
The zx12 was and I still have the knot on my head from a low fuel launch.
If you want to know how it feels, it's feels just like that time you forgot to take the wheel lock off.
Now back to the regular scheduled program.....Does it fit?
