Another damned PClll hub question
OK, so you have Map1 and switch to Map2... in the hub configuration you also have Relay Output 1 and Output 2. Does Output 1 mean it will power a relay in Map1 only ? Reason I am asking is I want to power the nitrous solenoid in Map 2 only above 90% throttle and 7500rpm. Do you set this configuration up when you open the program up in the Map 2 switch position only? Or will it apply to both Map1 and Map2 regardless? The PClll instructions dont make this clear at all. Also, do the Outputs send any voltage out or just switch a contact to ground? I appreciate any experience with this.

The outputs are only a switch to ground.

I called PC and they are telling me that the switch position does not matter, meaning that both switch positions will be affected by the output relay setup.

yes you simply have 2 outputs you can set active, map position switch has nothing to do with the outputs. That being said the map switch is simply a ground switch as well and i have seen where the nitrous switch was tied into the map switch so that when the nitrous was pressed (or activated with WOT switch ) it grounds map 2 on the hub ( they tell me its instant, not sure if i belive that) so you are only using your NOS map during spray time. Hope that helps

What I like about the the 2 outputs is I will wire one to turn the nitrous on and the other will turn it off, just like a window switch. Where could I buy the relay harness?
