Same rason that if I made a post about pulling both the primary and secondary throttle plates would get you double the horsepower and torque.... someone too lazy to do homework, or too impatient to check out the claim, would do it just to be one up on everyone else, regardless if the claim is true or not. "I read it on the internet so it HAS to be true" school of thought......

I actually made a shorty pipe like that with a removable and adjustable (as far as back pressure) baffle. I didn't feel any improvement in the performance, on the low end or top end, with the short pipe. About the only improvement the short pipe gave was a more "vicious" sound.....

More vicious than what? A snake? Because when i think of vicious animals, at the top of the list is a snake....

I once had an exhaust that sounded more vicious than a Baboon...and the performance sucked.
