Anyone Replace Their Upper Cowling?

Someone keyed the front of my bike....................... I'll have to replace the upper cowling, and I was wondering if the headlight lens's come with the new cowling. If anyone knows I would appreciate it.

Thanks...........

No, the headlights and lenses are separate from the cowling.

The headdlights will actually come apart even though they are glued with the " black tar ". I have installed the Angel Eyes Lights in many 14's. Baking the lights in an oven @ 250 degrees for 10 minutes and they just pull right apart, instal the Angel Eyes, bake again and reassemble. They go back together just like factory.

I went ahead and filed a claim with the insurance company ( State Farm ) I've never filed a claim before and been with them for a long, long time. They were great, and handed me a check for a new upper, headlight assy., labor and tax today. Never asked to see the bike, OR pictures. The agent said he knew how I kept my bikes wanted to be sure it was put back perfect. It felt good to recieve such great service AND be trusted........
