Brock Noise Reduction Plug?

Anyone using the Brock Noise Reduction plug? Thoughts? I have a SMEG on my '08 ZX14, which is usually fine on the street, but there are times when I wished it was not quite so loud. Any first fand experience with this product? I understand it does not require PCIII remapping over the standard SMEG mapping.

I have a spare if your interested. It does make a noticable difference in the lower to mid range, but it still sings pretty good in the upper revs.

Reward69, if he is not interested, I am. I can get one on discount at Brocks, but would be interested in yours at a good price. Shoot me a pm.

I have one in my Alien Head when I'm riding on the street. It does tone it down a bit.
But then again I didn't buy it to go quietly in the night.

If you already have the smeg then getting the noise reduction plug would be a good choice. According to Brock's, the pipe's sound will still have kick but it does indeed significantly reduce the amount of noise to where it is comfortable to ride. One member on this board (I believe it was Superman T) told me that with the plug in the pipe kind of reminded him like the bike was farting, but I would suppose that would be the only drawback since you will not lose HP. The plug is an inexpensive mod, and I am sure you can get it from a member of this board, or Craigslist, or EBay for even cheaper. Besides, it beats trying to stuff grapefruits in there.
