Clutch Issues

Hello all,
I'm just looking for some opinions on what I need to change in my clutch.
It's at a point where it doesn't engage until right before it is fully released and gets much worse once the bike heats up. The bike only has 5000km on it so I'm concerned something is really wrong.
I don't drag race on it but I do launch hard and I am a big boy (315lbs) and I feel the problem got worse when I switched to synthetic oil.

I'm wondering if I should
1 - put semi synthetic or regular oil in or
2 - run stronger springs and or spacers

Also at this point should I be looking to replace some or all or the clutch pack?

have you pulled them out to check them? sounds like it's time for a new pack to me

some synthetics use moly.
some use more than others.
Moly can make your clutch slip.... check your oil.
Sounds like the clutches are done either way

if you're heavy and ride it hard you will go through clutches way faster than a small rider. get a set of digital calipers and a service manual. check your stack height, you're probably about to burn up a clutch. you can just put the thicker steels in to increase stack height to meet the spec or just buy a new pack. Schnitz usually has them in stock for $179. Heavy duty clutch springs are a must for heavy riders also.

synthetic oil shouldn't change anything unless it has moly. I use amsoil 10-40 motorcycle specific oil and never had a problem

I'm going to replace the whole pack and get the brocks springs, just start from scratch again and see how it goes. Should I add the spacers as well or is that overkill for a street ride?
Motul 7100 is in now but I will probably switch to mobil one when I do the clutch.
Is there anything I should watch out for when doing the clutch? I already have a copy of the service manual.
thanks
