Need a quick favor.....how do I set the clock?

I've misplaced my owners manual and I can't remember how to reset the clock. I had to unhook the battery a few weeks ago so ever since then I've been clueless about what time it is while I'm riding.

I know it was something simple but I'll be damned if I can remember.

I'm not near my bike and I only set it once w/out the manual, but I'm pretty sure it goes like this.... Just push the button when you're at the clock and hold it down. Then it should flash and you can change it. Just like a car radio.

push both upper & lower buttons for two seconds - this takes you into the menu pages.

Do you have to be at a certain place on the display first? Like at the mileage, instant mileage, miles to go, or something like that? Maybe not, I'll out and play with the buttons for a couple of minutes.

Thanks. Didn't get time to do it this evening. Some friends showed up at my door and we ended up shooting pool and drinking beer all evening. I'll get to it tomorrow.

Thank you very much, I never thought of that. I guess that is why I put in that I had misplaced my manual.

What's a VCR? I think I've heard of those things, just didn't know that people were still so far behind technology that they used them. To make it worse I'm in WV and we are always the last people to know about "new" technology. I've heard rumors that they are going to start putting movies on these shiny little frisbie looking things!
