You just can't teach stupid people, how did this guy last so long in the bike sales industry. You should bash other people's choice of bikes, it's just rude.

Then I went to the Suzuki dealership last night. That guy had no problem telling me how crappy my ZX14 is. I had no idea, I can't believe anyone would ever buy one of these things!!!!

What's bad is that I was actually in there looking to purchase a 600, 750, or 1000. He had one that I was halfway interested in. I had no desire to trade in my 14, I was planning on purchasing an additional bike. That was before he felt the need to start bashing my bike and telling me about the "200" hp busa that is smoother, handles twice as nice, and is so much more stable than mine. According to him our bikes aren't even stable at 185 but you can ride a busa at 185 all day long.

I attempted to have a civilized conversation with the guy but it didn't work out. I ended up walking out and heading down to the Yamaha dealership. If I do end up buying a Suzuki it sure as hell won't be from that shop.

If you do buy a new suzuki (or if not maybe borrow a buddy's that might have one?) you should go back down there, make SURE it's that dickhead you talk to and explain to him how much better the "insert dealership name here" salespeople and service was compared to the moron salesperson at this dealership who doesn't know jackshit about sportbikes outside of what he reads in a suzuki brochure.

If possible, maybe get a word in with the dumb bastards boss and explain how one of his morons is killing his business talking about matters he truly knows nothing about and turning away customers. That's providing the chump hasn't been fired yet.

I did come close to trading the bike in this weekend. It almost went bye bye for a Ducati 1098. In the end it didn't work out. I wanted it for $5,500 difference, the dealer was stuck at $6,250 difference (Ducati has 1,100 miles on it). If I had a dealer in my area to service it I would have probably gone for it. The reliability issues just had me too worried to risk it though.

I imagine if I do end up trading it in I will go for an 09 ZX10R.
