Idiots lulled to sleep by false data.Just how much power do they think the Pres. has?Isn't it the legislative branch that passes laws and budgets?Seems to me we were doing a lot better when the dems. were not a majority in congress.All this talk about Palin not knowing the role of VP in the Senate,it has been the Democratic fuck faces denying or bending a bill to the point a that it won't work.Bush's policies have been sabotaged by congress for self-interest and not the good of the United States.

What "false data" would that be? Two wars? Economy in the toilet? Jobs disappearing at the rate of 400,000/month? It is this president's policies, starting in 2001 that have brought us to this point. Bush has been running escalating deficits every year he has been in office.
Democratic majorities gained in 2006 have managed to pass very little, courtesy of republican filibuster on anything brought to the floor.
Republican deregulation, the tax-cuts to the wealthy ("irresponsible" according to John McCain, in 2001), a war of choice in Iraq and the continued erosion of the tax base as corporations have moved jobs out of this country are the root cause of this recession.

Winning two wars which by the way has always helped the economy,Economy in the toilet because the democratic party thought everyone should have a house and pushed the banks to lend regardless of the consequences jobs disappearing because the dems want to keep taxing business out of the country and Pelosi has stopped any kind of bill from getting to the floor if it might make the reps look good and then those that do make it are fiddle with until they are baseless. 1993- A humanitarian operation in Somalia is transformed into a military strike, where Clinton refuses to authorize the availability of armor for proper support. When the ill-supported operation leads to American casualties, Clinton overrides military requests and refuses to allow a properly outfitted military counter-strike. Within a few months, he withdraws American forces, sending the message that a "bloody nose" is the only thing necessary for the United States to back down.
1995-1996 - Clinton institutes "Citizenship USA" which pressures the US Department of Justice's Immigration and Naturalization Service to naturalize some 1,000,000 new immigrants, even though many had incomplete background checks. George Bush was inaugurated a few months later. He immediately set about locating those responsible for the Cole, putting right Clinton's inaction. Or perhaps not.
