What about a 3 mill kit with a 4 mill crank.

Will this set up be to much for the street.

too much for a stock battery for sure...
the crank would be nice , but boring the case is a PINTA, and the cylinders are siamesed, so heat would definately become an issue for big bore on the street ...IMO anyway...

Stroker with nitrous would be better IMO, or better yet turbo...

By the time you do the crank, rods, pistons, head, cams, pipe, your only about $800 , and stil 50HP short of a turbo...

IMO.....

I'd say about 100 hp short of a turbo...plus with a boost controller you can controll every gear right to the point of spinning or wheeling...Like Dubious said if your going to dump that much $ into it "GO BOOST"

It won't seem so nice when a turbo rips you a new one.

I dissagree Jesse, with a 4 lb spring {200 hp} on a low comp motor 3-4 ins extended shinko or pp race soft if the pavement is good it will hook. And even if it spins a little, when the next stage of boost {7 lbs} comes in or the next stage {12lbs} gear activated "GOOD BYE"...Stage 2's are alot easier to control with a boost controller than people think. I've been riding them on the street for years...but thats just my opinion. I've lost to alot of motor bikes in the 1/8th but those same bikes I've raced in the 1/4 and I blow by them on the back half. {I just have to turn down the boost a little in the lower gears.

Mike that is correct. Although all my turbo bikes have been busas, it works the same on all bikes: A stage 2 means your engine, clutch, tranny and fueling system are built to handle 300+ hp from higher boost applications. Depending on your turbos efficiency up to 35 lbs{550 hp} of boost is possible for short bursts. {1/4 mile} 20 lbs{400 hp} is no problem for mile pulls.{c-16 and h2o injection I feel are manditory, as well as a proper "turbo map". By map I mean an AFR of around 11.5 to 1. Stage 2 turbo bikes are basically useless without a boost controller. Most of the good controllers are gear activated meaning each gear your controller automatically adjusts your wastegate allowing more boost to build in that gear. Example: this is my set up for a sticky track 1st-6 lbs
2nd-10 lbs
3rd-17 lbs
4th-22 lbs
5th-28 lbs
6th-28lbs
If someone wants to play on the street I change the wastegate spring to 4 lbs and as follows 1st-4 lbs
2nd-8 lbs
3rd-13 lbs
4th-18 lbs
5th-22 lbs
6th-22 lbs
If I'm running pump fuel 3rd-6th gear I'm limited to 11 lbs{290 hp}...I'm not a very good dragracer but I do have a very, very fast motorcycle. My best 1/4 mile time is 8.47 at 183 mph which is terrible for what this bike is capible of. {I'd like to see Smokin or Jesse ride my bike on a good track...7's I know are in it.}...anyway my next project will hopefully be a big cc racing kit for my 14 and I'll let Colby Adams install it and tune it.
