10 seconds is all it takes to grind your skin down to bone at 52mph. less then that to give you irreversable brain damage from NOT wearing a helmet if you were crash. How would your family feel? Motorcycling is a dangerous passtime and not just from inattentive drivers. Wear the proper gear, reduce the risk. Igt will save the trip to the hospital to have the gravel scrubbed out of your wounds.

That may be how you ride at Bike Week. I prefer to have my gear on because of all the out of state idiots!

At bike weeks at Myrtle Beach, Pana City, downtown Daytona, and many places near the beaches traffic moves at 10 MPH or less.

One can physically hop off the bike and be safe.

I'm a gear advocate 100%, but please, let keep it real here. Skateboards make better time than bikes in this type traffic.

yeah we dress like that at bike week, but look at the traffic their in... no other bikes, no beach...
