sportbikes have been discriminated against in FL for quite some time, but now the cops really have the weapons they wanted to fack us good.
+1 steve ... But an HD rider can drive drunk as we see them do every Weds night leaving QSL and that is just fine with the Police ..
++1 about the HD rider. I see that alot up here in ohio, go on poker runs HD guys see how much they can drink then ride on to the next stop. Bike nights HD guys drinking then ridding home! WTF?? Then they never get stopped, bet of they pull the front wheel they wont get stopped by the police (which is highly un likely but im just saying) also.....just like they never get stopped for loud pipes!!!!!!

As if the points applied to your driving record and the financial snow ball repercussions from that isn't deterrent enough.....add $1000-$2500 to that and you'll find a higher percentage of normal law abiding citizens chosing to run. Now we have even more ractical situations to react to.

Despite the increased punishment running from the police is just plain stupid. I do not agree with the treatment Floridian bikers have to endure but here's to hoping that the squids won't make matters worse by trying to pull an OJ Simpson everytime a cop flashes his lights at them.

If ya can't afford it then keep both wheels on the ground, don't try to hide your license plate, and save the speed for the track. *Sigh* I just have to make sure I head my own advice regarding the third.
