Insurance cost for ZX-14?
I ran a quote at Geico for a ZX-14 that I'm interested in buying. I'm 58, no accidents or speeding tickets on my record. Lowest quote was $2020 a year online, then I got an email the next day offering a $200-off Geico special on that quote.
Anyone have relatively inexpensive insurance or can make a recommendation?
My numbers were:
$100,000/$300,000
$50k property damage
Comprehensive $250 ded
Collision @250 ded
Roadside $0
Accessories $1-$3000

Yeah, scrap the full coverage and go with just liability with Allstate and pay like $120 a year.

It's not even close. State Farm. I just have liability now because everything else is so expensive. In a year, when some junk goes off my record, I'll get full coverage from State Farm. The guy explained that it is because SF considers anything over 999cc all the same, and not a sport bike. Could be a Harley, Gold Wing, Busa, Rocket III, doesn't matter, it's considered the same.

26 years old with some tickets. $300/year full coverage with $2000 dedcutible. State Farm. They rate the bikes by cc, not type, so you'll pay less than someone with a goldwing for example.
