A case of the shakes
I've had her for about 2 months. She had 1200 miles on her when I got it and now I'm sitting on 3200 miles. I've noticed that when I get on the front brakes kinds hard it shakes/vibrates. Could this be my pads or the rotors?? Pads look worn but are in decent shape. Also rotor looks decent. Anyone else experience this???

There has been a few reports of warped rotors. Get a dial guage and check them out.

hmmm that's odd. Yea I can't seem to find the problem. Nothing is loose. I guess I'll try some new pads and see if that helps at all.

I'll check the rotors as well. Front tire has plenty meat left though it is still original tire. That could be the issue but no vibration or anything while I'm riding just when I grab front brakes.

don't waste your money on newpads, unless they have been contaminated by oil or coolant.
Just scuff em up with emery cloth and reinstal.
The frt tire needs to be inspected for feathering.
A feathered frt tire will cause this as well.
Check the lateral run out on the rotors, likely they are warped.

My 14 did the same thing with 3100 miles on it. I thought it was brakes, but turned out to be the stock front BT-014. The 'stone just couldn't handle the ridiculously strong front brakes and gave out. It still had plenty of tread but was baked, cupped and hard as a brick from heat and wear. Personally I think the BT14's are junk. You have to remember you have some of the best front brakes in the biz on your bike, its going to go through front tires quicker than your used to
